Kōura / Lobster
Kōura or Southern Rock Lobster (Jasus edwardsii) has been a highly valued source of food for as long as Ngāi Tahu have lived in Te Waipounamu.

Pāua / Abalone
To Ngāi Tahu, pāua is considered as a taonga (treasure), and a gift from Tangaroa, the god of the sea. It is highly valued for its firm meaty flesh and savoury, sea flavour.

Tio / (Bluff) Oysters
Tio or Bluff Oysters (Tiostrea chilensis) are a prized delicacy in New Zealand. Tio is a taonga species, which means it is of special cultural significance to Ngāi Tahu.

Rāwaru / Blue Cod
Considered by many as New Zealand's most delicious fish, rāwaru or blue cod (Parapercis colias) is Ngāi Tahu Seafood's most popular fin fish
